"Ye are the light of the world..."

Recently, we had an activity at church and by the time we finished it was dark.  As we turned our lights on in the front of the church we were reminded of

PVC ceiling in bathroom

We finished the ceiling in our bathroom and it turned out real nice.  Praise the Lord!
We will have to build another bathroom to comply with regulations.

Concrete Board

This past week we were able to finish putting up concrete board on one of the outside walls.

Concrete work needed

Here is a picture of front of church.  We need to build a sidewalk here.

Rainy season is intense here.  We are praying about a couple of sidewalks for our church.  It would help tremendously!

We also need to work on concrete to the right of the church.  It is very hard for our ladies to walk in on Sunday morning.

January 2016

Just finished writing our recent prayer letter and getting it ready to be sent out.  Wow!  It is hard to believe that we have finished another year and we are now in 2016.

Each year has their ups and downs, great victories and their trials.  This past year we have seen that through it all, the Lord is always with us and His presence always sustains us.

We are very grateful that we have this opportunity to serve Him on a full-time basis.

We are very excited about this New Year.  We have a lot of plans and we desire to do more for the Lord; so please continue to pray for us as we start this year.

As far as our ministry, we plan to start a new work this year.  As missionaries, we know that our goal is to see more doctrinally sound churches planted.  We will say more about that soon.

As you can see on this map, Costa Rica is a small country.  But there is a great spiritual need here.

There are over 5 million people here in this little Central American country.  What an opportunity!

As far as our family, Rachel is half-way through her senior year.  Please pray for her as she finishes out this year and that the Lord would lead her to the right Bible college.  She is praying about continuing her studies with the deaf. I know she would be very grateful if you could pray for her as she seeks the Lord's will for her life.

Natalie and Caleb continue their homeschooling and are working very hard.

We hope you have a wonderful year!  Let's continue on for the Lord is this New Year!

Mark 12:30 "And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength..."

Take care!
